Exclamation FlyLeaf Symbol Question

I am wondering about the FlyLeaf symbol that looks kinda like a flame.

It reminds me of an upside down Italian Horn - which is a demonic sign that symbols Satan would take care of all your finances kind of thing and for sexual power and luck.

Can someone help me vertify if it is or is not the Italian Horn.

I am sure this is a mistake as FlyLeaf is a Christian Band.

Thanks!

I'm guessing they are sending us demonic messages through their music. No, I'm kidding. I'm pretty sure it's just a flame though. Not sure about the background.

Care to show us the satanic symbol though ?

It kind of does look similar. Doesn't an upside down cross stand for something evil?

I doubt they meant it to be that way, but perhaps an upside down 'Italian horn' is supposed to mean something good.

It IS supposed to be a flame though. The color logo makes that obvious (to me anyway).

i don't think it's a subtle conspiracy to include subliminal messages. here's what i see when i look at the logo:

if you lay a book on a table and let the pages turn freely, stoop down and look at the end of the spine. you see the edges of the pages turning - "flyleaf" the first page in a book...

it also reminds me of this verse:
"For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing." II Corinthians 2:15

and this was a great interpretation of the logo:

i don't think it was ever intended to be an absolute. different people will interpret it differently based on their experiences, just like the songs.

"The reversed cross, also known as the cross of St. Peter, has also been used as an emblem of Satanism. Historically, it has been a symbol of humility, a symbol of Martyred St. Peter's refusal to be crucified in the manner of Christ, preferring to be hung upside down."
